Winter draws on. For the first time last night we wore jackets on night
watch. Probably only around 23 degrees but we are not used to it. The wind
was slight in the night and we crawled along but this morning the cruising
chute is up and we are bowling along nicely and still in company with our
friends.

With the slow night we only covered 119 miles or in other words, back to our
average. We have now covered 874 miles since Uligam and with the same again
to do but at least it does feel as if it is downhill.

Not a ship in sight and no fish for two days but we are trying. Winter draws
on with the midday temperature down to 28 degrees. Feel sorry for us?
