Yesterday afternoon the wind was below 7 kts and we were motoring and used the time for several little fix-up work on Blue Note
But at sunset  it come back so I had dinner under a dark clear sky full of star with no engine sound.

List of yesterday and today fix-up work:
  • Replaced old lazy-jack that had some bad chafing and were rigged in a strange way making it impossible to store them away while raising the sail. The new one are installed according to attached diagram and can be easily folded near the mast before raising the sail.
  • Adjusted height  of new bilge switch from bottom of bilge. Before was too low and while the boat was heeling the switch once triggered was not turning himself off.
  • Cleaned and lubed one of the two rod holding up the fore hatch
  • Fixed with plastic epoxy cover of the foot windlass switch that had cracked

At 2:00 am today we passed the mid-way point.
As for today sailing the spinnaker is out again and sailing on broad reach with 12-14 kts of wind.

Another beautiful day of sailing on the Atlantic
