Detailed Track (50 is the maximum number of point, i.e. once the last point reaches 50, the last point always is 50):

In the last 12 hours the wind has increased to 18-22 ktrs and we sailed even faster with an average speed of over 7.0 kts.
If we can continue with this speed, and the weather forecast shows  the wind to stay the same or even getting stronger, it's
possible to arrive in Lagos before sunset.
According to the Imray cruising book, it's possible to dock at the reception pantoon and then wait the next day to check-in with the different authority
and get assigned a slip in the marina.
So, this is the current plan and it should work unless the expected unfavorable currents at longitude 10W will slow us down too much.

Flavio made a full recovery and he is able now to even read.
However, fishing is halted today because of the high sailing speed and, now that we are aiming at a landfall before sunset, the need to keep up the speed.

After few days in Lagos the plan is follow Passepartout footsteps (or keelsteps as one should say) of last year and stop in Marina Puerto America in Cadez. From there wait for a good weather window to go to Gibraltar. And then the final destination of stage#2: Marina del Este.
Cadez, according to Chris and Nirit recommendation, it's a nice town and perhaps there we will also rent a car for a day and visit Seville, about 60 miles north, that together with Granada is considered to be one of the most beautiful city in Spain.
