Blue Note is about to leave the Azores for South of Spain.
We will probably make landfall in Lagos (on the south side of Portugal) and from there follow the European coast with Marina del Este, just south of Granada,
as the final destination of stage #2.
Flavio and I will make an all Italians crew of Blue Note.
Last May I met Flavio on the flight from Ponta Delgada to Lisbon (where I had to get a connection flight for the US).
Flavio and his friend Bernardo, both retired medical doctors from Trieste, had just spent two weeks trekking the many island of the Azores. On the fly to Lisbon it just happened that I was sitting next to them and I invited them to come back to the Azores for joining me for the sail to Spain. Bernardo had to declined because prior commitments but Flavio could not resist at the temptation of destiny and decided to join Blue Note.

Forecast are for light winds for the first two days, after the wind should increase around 20 kts from the beam. So we hope for a fast sail to Lagos.

If possible, I will try to post something on this blog around noon, Blue Note time, everyday.
You can also have a more detailed track (50 is the maximum number of point, i.e. once the last point reaches 50, the last point will always be 50) at:
