This morning ,still about 70 miles from Horta, all the suddenly the AIS is back to full range.
After few minutes we had as many as 27 AIS targets, many vessels at Horta and one cargo as far as 115 NM. Not sure how or why, but whatever was restricting the AIS range, fixed himself like magic.
Could have been a bad contact at the connector or at the antenna.
Hopefully the extended range will stay.

We are targeting to arrive in Horta tomorrow Wednesday May 22 at 7 am or shortly after that.
On the to do list for Horta there is:
- Fill-up fuel tank
- Fill up water tanks
- Quick wash down of Blue Note
- Paint a Blue Note mural. Using the stencil we have been working on in the last couple of days.
- Have a beer (or a couple) at Peter's sport cafe.
- Have dinner at a nice local restaurant.

For lunch on Blue Note menu today we have: "Poisson a la Tahiitienne"
(our albacore catch of the other day, marinated overnight with lemon juice and onions)
served with rice and Pinot Grigio.
