Early this morning, as the grib files had predicted, the wind decreased to about 12kt and finally the lure was in the water for some
fishing. We are hopping for some mahi-mahi, but nothing yet.
After some rain shower the wind had died down to 4kt variable in direction and we started motor-sailing. We have plenty of diesel
to burn since our estimated consumption so far has been only 15 gallons.
For the next couple of days east trade winds around 15kts are expected to settle in and they should give us a comfortable sail to the Virgin Islands.
