First 24 hours on Blue Note went very well with light from East North-East winds.
We had to keep a course west of the rhumb-line and at time also motorsail.
Now winds is at 12 kts from South-East and we are on a closed hauled course  for Horta with full mainsail, genoa and staysail doing about 5.5 kts.
Sea calm with big swell of 4-7 ft from North-East caused by the big storm that was West of the Azores last week.

As we were passing the shallow banks west of Annegada, we caught a big barracuda.
It made it good for some pictures but we did not kept it for food because of the scare of ciguatera.
From early this morning we have two lure out: one, the usual successful lure, that ride on top of the water and  another,
on a separate line, attached to a "diver" that force the lure to ride deeper.
So far no luck with either. I hope that the deep lure is not scaring fish away from the surface lure.

Emacs!
