Yesterday's missive was headed day 10! Sorry folks it should of read 'Day
11' and that makes today 'Day 12'.

Last night we had a wind shift of around 45 degrees which back winded the
main. The splice in the preventer at the outboard end of the boom chose that
moment to give up, the result being a rather spectacular gybe! The end result is that the boom has some rather interesting wrinkles in the aluminium.

We sailed just under the genoa last night but on inspection this morning we are now back under full main and poled out genoa. Probably require a new one!

Brief one this one as we are very busy!

Cheers
