I hate this word, but it is the only one to describe this place –
AWESOME. Wallaman Falls is the longest continual drop of water in
Australia. The waters plunge down a sheer cliff into a 20m deep pool
, making a swoosh and a boom as water hits water. You would NOT want
to swim here. You’d get churned in the vortex or bombed by water falling
on you like a brick, and your body parts would be eaten by crocodiles. But
it is great to look at. |
