3 really exciting things occurred today

1)  NEW FRIENDS CAME TO VISIT
Iâve met 2 delightful young ladies called Ilona & Natasha, whoâve now visited 3 times to sit and chat.  Natasha is 14 and still at school, Ilona is 17 and studying at Maritime College.

2) RAIN
It hasnât really rained properly since we left home.  Today it has!  I watched it coming from over the horizon & had to stop painting the cranes and run for cover, along with kids, families, brides & grooms, horses and carriages, all sheltering in the downpour and lightning.  The Really Ancient Greek Temple I was under had a drain from the roof, pouring down a solid curtain of water, like standing behind a waterfall.

3)  DRAMA IN DERIBASOVSKYA
Sandy and I were just having a quiet coffee at Top Sendweech and along comes a big dude with no neck and a nifty handbag and those fancy little trainers, chucking his considerable weight about and making the waitresses run around and move tables off the street.  Apparently heâs the owner of the lingerie shop next door and their tables have encroached his shop front.  They clearly do not want to mess with him, the way he was wielding that bag.
