When I visited Dalgety to see the Snowy I’d left my camera back in Bombala. Luckily, whilst I was soaking solars and enjoying the solitude a jurno from The Weekly Review (A Victorian country paper) turns up. She asked if she could take my picture and maybe use it for a piece she was doing on how the water release had rejuvenated the local tourist trade.

I put my shirt on so as not to frighten the natives but she was still wise enough to use some other pictures she’d taken of little kids on their horses.

She was kind enough to send me her pictures which show what a beautiful spot this is.
