Well Prickley Bay is filling up , we thought that we were tucked away in a nice little corner and no one else could possibly squeeze in but hell they do , but everyone is here hiding from any hurricans and everyone is fun ..... this is a good chance to really work on the boat and get any little fiddly jobs done but now that a couple of weather fronts have passed through is has really got very hot , so still work in the mornings and swimming and keeping cool in the afternoons everyone always meets for happy hour though , with everyone who is cruising on a very tight budget , happy hour affords a good way of meeting others while having a cheap drink or two . I had to go and experience a local doctors surgury recently and I had a problem with my foot and leg , they were not doing what I wanted them to do , thinking the worst that i had contacted some wild tropical disease we traipsed off to the doctor at the Black Rock Medical Centre , the doc was great and it turns out that I had completely depleted my body of vitamin b12 which caused a neuological problem which affected my right and foot .......... how bazaar ..... so needless to say I have to take masses of b12 for the next month to overcome this problem ... so.. no exotic tropical disease for me....... some photos of Blue Beyond in Prickley Bay and from St Goerges he capital town View your Twitter and Flickr updates from one place - Learn more! |
