We had to make a move , our newbies were now well and truly settled on the boat and a nice routine was now underway , bottle of wine at lunch and then 'sundowners ' at 5pm just started the eveing nicely ....
we left Rodney Bay and made our way down the coast to Marigot Bay a true 'Huurican Hole' as it is so sheltered , we were met by an official boat guide who escorted us through a narrow channel into an inner lagoon to tie up on a buoy, we were inundated with baot boys wanting to sell bananas , jewelery ect but it is fun as they have all the patter ......

but being sheltered the temperature shot up so unfortunately we had to spend the afternoon swimming off the back of the boat and snoozing , Tina is managing this very well , we took the dingy all of 150 ft to a restaurant for the evening which was lovely , packed ,so we had to wait a bit for food but with a live band playing we really felt we were in the carribean . Unfortunately we all tried the 'cocktails ' bad idea , just as we were ready to leave the heavens opened , it was torrential , in the end we just went for it ...but ....hurricane cocktails and me don't mix , I played up in the dingy and lets just say we had a splashing time and were all hung out to dry on our return.....

today we took the dingy around the bat and explored the little shopping complex and then had a very long leisurly lunch , and out for dinner tonight mmmmm.......
