At last the day of the carnival , everyone was heading into St George 's and the excitement was touchable ... thankfully although there were a few clouds that were threatening the weather held andthen the precession started , only an hour late which here in Grenada is exceptional! , So we then lined the road and watched , the procession went on for over an hour and the work that went into the costumes was amazing and the colours were lovely , , we saw the Jab -Jab man who dresses to scare the little children and you have to give him a dollar( 20p) to go away , in Tobago they chew aloe vera to give their tongue a green and slimy appearance I gladly gave him a dollar , we thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing , it was great , and we were very lucky to see it ......
