All excited about the gig to night , we got togged up in our finest and took a coolbox full of food and snacks , two fold up chairs a gallon cool urn full of just coke ( honest) and our mosi spray .... we decided to get over to the dingy pontoon really early because it is small and there could be 70+ dingies trying to park there , the plan was to have a drink in the little bar until they would let us through , as we docked the dingy a nice lady said if we waited for security they would escort us through to the main arena .. this is good we thought ( we had come in basicly the back of the whole venue ) so we were escorted into the main arena 1 1/2 before the gates opened , great .. we chose our spot as we were the on;ly public in there and watched all the last minute preparations , we enjoyed our first rum and coke and some olives and crisps thinking how lucky we were when a whole host of police and security guards ran towards us shouting , they then grabbed us and all out gear.... apparently we were in full veiw of the 4oo+ people waiting at the main gate who were now on the verge of a riot because we had been allowed in so early!!!!!, we were whisked off and hidden behind the bins , out of sight and told to stay there until  the gates open then we could race back to our spot , what a nightmare . anyway bang on 7 pm we whipped back to our spot . the first few acts were brilliant , even KC and the sunshine band were great fun and had us all up dancing , the for us the hightlight of the night Amy , she was given a great welcome , but then just mumbled along to the tune , did,t really try to engage with the audiance and then the heavens open and it blew the lights so she just walked off , really disapointing , but we carried on dancing in the rain, but now it was turning into a mudbath I was up to my ankles in mud , only good thing was it is really hot mud  , but all in all we had a really good night , had planned to leave but there are so many boats with their anchors over ours that we now can't leave .... well go tomorrow , straight of to Grenada in one hit .
