Despite Lemvig being easily voted the best port of call of the cruise to date (!), we nonetheless decided to tear ourselves away in order to continue progress through the Lymfjord. Clear of the Lemvig approach channel, a W2 soon had us approaching the bascule bridge at Oddesund. This opened at the advertised time and by late lunchtime we were approaching our intended overnight anchorage – Harre Veg, a wonderfully tranquil, undeveloped natural harbour. The afternoon was spent progressing various maintenance tasks: Bill cleaned the waterline, Peter fixed the companion way step, and the skipper adjusted the upper rigging. Hopefully some phots will bear witness to our endeavours.
So far, we are on track to make it to Gothenburg by Friday evening.
