Struggling to get decent comms at Grimsay or Benbecula. Aquila departed Dunvegan on Thursday, saying goodbye to Peter and Rosy. Lovely to have them aboard again, even if they did bring lousy weather!
Ken and skipper had a 4hr beat to Kallin, a tiny fishing port on Grimsay island. Locals very friendly and we bought scallops etc from the processing plant.
Sarah arrived as planned on Friday, and Ken departed on return flight. He is a real glutton for punishment, still volunteering to return in a month's time for the return trip to Poole! Thanks Ken for all your help and company.
Currently awaiting Sebastian's arrival. Apparently aircraft has yet to depart Glasgow, as pilot does not think viz at Benbecula sufficient. Seems no worse than yesterday to me - today's pilot must be a crab!
Regret no phots of local scene as comms does not have the bandwidth. Heading to Portree for next stop.
