First day at sea

23 May. The chilly night was followed by a day of bright sunshine and fair winds, allowing fantastic sailing and excellent progress. Used all of the toys sails, including the asymmetric (with beers!).
After a hearty meal of Chicken Fricassee (Thanks Sarah!!!) we entered L’Aberwrac’h on a clear, windless evening as the last of the light faded: to find one of the leading lights missing. Zut alors! But the crew rose to the occasion and successfully dodged all hazards to see us safely alongside in L’Aberwrac’h by 2245. Over a medicinal Scottish dram we nearly solved the Referendum question but only nearly! No doubt to be continued….!
