Wednesday. GRIB promised us N3, so today we said goodbye to Ria Corcubion and rounded close-in to Cape Finisterre (phot) – note the concentration on the Mate’s face as she coaxes the most out of the main (phot)! We then stood out to sea, hard on the wind – which steadily faded as the sun rose higher. At the call ‘time to tack’, it was also decided that motor sailing would have to be resorted to – and we completed the 29 mile passage to Camarinas thus. At last, said the Mate – showers!
