Not that it was cold or anything:
 
 


But as Seb had at last managed to join us (his Saturday flight having been cancelled, morale was high:

 
 


On the 8 hour trip to our overnight anchorage at Staffin Bay, we had two hours of bright sunshine, and about 4 hours of rain.  But we saw the most northern tip of Skye:
 
 


And on the following day, on a fast run south under a NE5-6, we saw many a puffin, seal, guillemot, razorbill, diver(?) and fascinating rock formations:
 
 


In no time at all the bridge to Skye loomed large, just short of our overnight stop at Kyleakin:
 
 

A sweepstake was held on board on whether we'd fit under or not.  Despite the chart clearly stating that we would have yards to spare, the skipper could not bare to look and hid below until we were safely through.

Now to find a shower, dhoby machine and a good meal ashore!
