Some phots that might amuse a few. It was a tough sail from Carbost to Dungegan:
![]() Maybe it was something to do with having been able to sit in the cockpit (albeit for only 10 mins before the cold drove everyone in!) for a drink the previous evening: ![]() We witnessed the existence of MacLeod's maidens: ![]() And rounded Neist Point in the most tranquil of conditions: ![]() Clearly it was the calm before the storm while in Dunvegan: ![]() But at least we managed to replenish the water tanks. Typical scenes in this vicinity: ![]() And if we had thought the hotel in Lochboisdale was shoddy, you should try this one: ![]() An equal amount of pride is taken in the jetty facility: ![]() But despite the wind, rain, cold and lack of facilities, the team of Peter, Rosalie, Ken and the skipper enjoyed themselves. We really must be mad! |
