Over the past 2 days we have vacated 4807 Newport Avenue, with Sarah and Juno going to UK (paperwork for the latter proved to be in order, so luckily Sarah did not have to resort to the fall back plan of 'shoot the puppy'), and Alan moving on board AQUILA - with yet another load of stuff!  Tom met Sarah and Juno at Heathrow as planned, and all 3 had an easy journey to Ship Cottage.  Meanwhile, back at Deale, it has taken 36 hours to stow the remaining gear that we have put on board over the last 96 hours.  The main cabin is now looking pretty civilised, but the forepeak and aft cabin are still imitating bedlam. Last night Alan went to watch the Florida Merlins play the Washington Nationals at the new stadium in DC (courtesy of Tony and Beth Cothron - and thank you both so much) - a great atmosphere, and I learned lots again (just a shame I won' remember it all!).   Today was water tank cleaning day - took about 8 hours solid work, but they are now full and taste like the product of a mountain spring. Tomorrow the aim is to commission the engine.
