What a difference some wind makes! After the
trials of fitful zephrs and flat calms, coupled with a confused sea, at 0900
this morning the wind filled in from the West, and since then has beeen blowing
steady Force 3. This puts it just abaft the starboard beam, and has been
giving us around 6.5 kts steadily for the past 8 hours. Coupled with this
has been bright sunshine and perfect temperatures. So life has perked up
big time. And the forecast looks good for the next 24 hrs, although light
winds threaten again thereafter. We shall see.
Sarah had a major success this morning with the
bread - best loaf yet!
