Windswept these islands certainly were today!  Back on board for tea, it was still blowing a hooly, but undeterred we ventured out for a meal ashore in the Lochboisdale hotel.

Tomorrow the westerly wind should have abated to a mere Force 5, so in preparation for Monday’s crew change, we will sail the 20 miles to North Bay, Barra in the natural shelter provided by the islands to windward en-route.  Perhaps it’s too much to hope that the better weather currently being predicted for next week will actually materialise……
