After a difficult morning with little wind, the
asymmetric sail finally gave us a much needed moral lift, and some beautiful
sailing.
It was finally decided that we had crossed the
halfway point, and that drinks were needed. It was later discovered that in fact
the calculations had been wrong, and the halfway mark had been crossed the
previous day! Better that way than the other!
As promised, Tom posses for a halfway picture
with the good luck card made for him by some of his housemates next year. Inside
it reads 'Don't get eaten by pirates...' So far so good!
