Apologies for the delay in updating the blog - lots has been going on so we shall proceed in two installments...

Inspired by our efforts of Tuesday with the lighthouse we decided to head off across the island to the "Crystal Caves". Another exciting bus ride resulted in our arrival at the attraction - definitely one of the tourist hotspots of the island with the American culture desiring to get going immediately clashing slightly with the locals who were going to let the tour start when they were ready!

We had a very informative tour guide and had 30 minutes in the caves (no crystals in sight, their name is a result of the clarity of the water) and then headed back to Hamilton.

In the evening we had Sean Lee, Alan, Paulina and Alex Brooks and Renae Black on board for drinks. Lots of Pimm's was consumed before the Bennetts, the Brooks and the Black headed to Alan and Paulina's house for a delicious supper of barbecued beef - thank you so much for a superb evening and fantastic company.

Sebastian and Pippa then had our arms twisted and headed to the night life of Hamilton with Alex and Renae - Docksider's on Front Street! For a Wednesday night it was a pretty happening place with lots of "Dark and Stormies" consumed (the Bermudian national drink - dark rum (in varying quantities!), ginger beer and lemon).

As you may imagine, the younger two crew members weren't feeling their most spritely the next day...
