Vital piece of equipment arrived today in the form
of Sebastian who arrived safe and sound from London, so Aquila now has her final
crew to make the Norfolk - Bermuda leg.
A few bits of maintenance have been completed over
the last couple of days; daddy continued on his quest to clear out the bilges of
the diesel that was spilt from the heater - lots of emulsifying and fresh water
pumped through so hopefully that's nearly clear, and a joint effort from daddy
and Pippa altered some of the markings on the anchor cable so that it is now
easier to mark the 20ft points.
Today was spent getting a load of laundry sorted
(thank you Richard for being the taxi service and launderette for the afternoon)
and collecting Sebastian from the airport. Current weather plans suggest that
we're still looking good for a 1200 departure on
Monday.
