Sorry about the position error yesterday.  We weren’t really in center of Venezuela.

I omitted a digit in the latitude. Its been corrected.

The wind has held and we’re zooming along over 9 knots with one reef in the Yankee.

We’re getting 17-20 knots SSW.  It has gone slightly forward of the beam and the sea has increased slightly. It clouded over this afternoon and we didn’t get a sunset. There was another brief Dolphin visit.

There’s just a bit of an orange moon poking through a gap in the clouds, and some squally blobs forming on the radar.

The squalls didn’t materialize. We had a good night.  The wind has now dropped a notch so our boat speed isn’t quite so spectacular. We’ve been trailing the fishing lines to no avail.

Its clouded over in the last couple of hours and the temperature has risen several degrees which is a plus as I had to wear thermals yesterday.  We must be getting some warm air from the Gulf Stream, and very welcome it is to. As its getting light at 4 AM we’re just set the clocks forward 2 hours.

Not much else to report except that yesterday’s 24 hour run was 211 miles, all of it under sail.

No snaps today.
