We were anchored in Pago Pago (pronounced Pango Pango) a little after midnight.

We are anchored across from a major Tuna processing plant. The check in procedure took about an hour and I was really glad we did it early Friday AM as Russell is flying on Sunday evening and everything is closed on the weekend.

En route Russell chalked up another Scrabble victory and now leads 3-1.

We’ve hired a car and done the first bit of provisioning.  Cornflakes for example cost ¼ of what they did in Papeete, but you can’t find muesli. Maybe tomorrow we will drive around a bit to see a bit of the island.  Haven’t taken any pix yet.
