OCT 18  Midday 50 Miles off shore from Casablanca

The Wind Dropped in the night and so alas did our boat speed., nonetheless we made a respectable 185 miles in the  first 24 hours of this leg. We still have 518 miles to go and should arrive  on the evening of the  21st or the  early AM of the 22nd.  Just in  time for Andrew to fly on the 23rd to his audition.  I had to kick off my duvet last night as every hour its gets warmer.  Promised thunderery showers didn’t appear and  we’re trotting along under blue skies.  The sea was very sloppy last night and with the wind dead behind we rolled about quite a bit, but now the sea and the wind are more in harmony and the motion is not so extreme. We have set the clocks back one hour and are now on English Time as are the Canaries.
