OCT 17 Gibralter Straights 6PM

We left at 12:45. and flew through the straights with a fair current and a fair wind.  Had the Spinnaker up for  4 hours of 10 knot travel.  This time when the wind went up to  25 knots we got it down  quite easily.  Maybe we’re getting the hang of it.

We’re currently poled out again and still doing well over  9 knots.  The best thing about leaving Gibralter is that the sun came out and it stopped  drizzlng.  The traffic in the straight is like a motorway as rush hour. At the speed we’re doing maybe we could have stopped in Morocco.

The wind prediction  looks like we’ll have this wind for the next few days.  Amazing.

Maybe if I send this position now the track won’t look like we’ve  sailed over the tip corner of Africa
