Spindrift has been in Fort Lauderdale since Easter Sunday.  I’m enclosing some snaps Steve took of the boat on the special yacht transport ship.  You can see how neatly is was shrink wrapped and how the  wrapping didn’t last the voyage.  The ship was very dirty and belched lots of soot from its smoke stack.

I’ve only been back a day or so as I’ve been visiting long lost family in Groton Mass, New Orleans and Baton Rouge.  Graham and Anne Colbourne arrived today from the UK and we will start out first thing Tuesday morning.  It’s a little over 400 miles to Charleston which I am told is a very beautiful and very old city.  We shall see.

I shall try to get back in the habit of the daily blog.  We shall see.
