8/8/08    09:00

We left for Savii at 8AM.  It is a hot muggy cloudy morning. There are rain squalls around. This morning the wind instrument went on strike again only this time it hasn’t come back.

15:00

The squalls cleared by mid morning. We arrived in Matatutu Bay and anchored at 14:15.  It was only 45 miles and we motored a good deal of the way.

It’s quite pretty here and there are a couple of resorts close by.  It’s very volcanic. The water isn’t all that clear.  We were spoiled in Bora Bora.  The wind sensor is well and truly sdccflummexxjyed.  I’m afraid I will have to buy a new one.  In the meantime we will have to resort to sticking a finger up in the air.
