The full moon brought a few days of crap weather with it. There was more paperwork as I am leaving the country and want to return on a one way ticket which requires a special letter from Immigration. Also Demetra and Demetri will not be on the boat when it leaves so more forms to fill.
Wednesday AM I had to fly down to Suva (the afternoon flight was full).  The airport in Savusavu is closed for repairs so there is a two hour cab ride to Lambasa on the North of the island, followed by a 36 minute flight, followed by another 35 minute cab ride to the Hotel. The road to Lambasa is only 90 kilometres but is in a terrible state.

The US Embassy kept me for nearly three hours even though I had an appointment and my working visa had already been approved. Tomorrow I get my passport back.  Everytime I go out for a walk here in Suva in buckets down so I haven't been taking snaps.
So Friday its back to the boat and Monday I fly to Nadi prior to leaving for New York via Los Angeles Monday night.  This journal will probably dry up in the next few days for a month or so until I return  to Fiji on October 1st. The plan is for me to cruise Fiji a bit before leaving for New Zealand mid October. Hopefully we'll do  some exploring over the weekend before I go.
