We did manage to fuel up on Saturday taking on 1750 litres.  The first pump they arrived with didn’t work and it took a couple of more trips back and forth until they arrived with one that worked.

Sunday we hired a car and drove all around the island ducking squalls and showers and being treated to a few minutes of sunshine. We all took hundreds of pictures.  I will sort out a few of them tomorrow to post assuming our satellite connection holds, I’m afraid we may be near an area with a gap in coverage. Monday was spent provisioning and clearing out with the local authorities, which entailed visits by 2 different boats.  We’ve just had dinner ashore and will leave either later tonight or first thing Tuesday AM. It is approximately 1200 miles to Pitcairn Island.
