16/06/10

We cycled around a lot of Block Island which meant I had to walk up some of the gentle hills.  It’s been a while since I cycled in earnest. On the Forth of July weekend there can be over 3000 boats here but for the moment it’s pretty quiet.  We did find it a pleasant stop and in the evening chatted with some locals in a charming bar about 100’ feet from the boat.

Yesterday we at 6AM and motored Eastward..  We managed to sail a few hours of the 70 odd miles to Nantucket. It was a glorious day, sunny and crisp.

According to the UPS tracking system the new Victron units should be delivered today.

I enclose a few snaps of Block Island and the second lot will be a few on Nantucket.  Will wander around a bit more today.
