Still motoring. Yawn.  The heat haze meant there was little sun today so I was able to spend the afternoon in the cockpit working on the next show I have to do towards the end of August.  The computer screen was bright enough as there was little direct sun.

We had  cannelloni stuffed with shrimp and  spinach for supper which was pretty good. We still have  lots of shipping company and between the horizon cloud and the heat haze there won’t be much of a sunset.  The wind has turned against us;

ENE Force 3 so we continue to motor.

Bleak dawn .Wind NW 9 knots, almost enough to sail.    I put the kettle on and discovered the main mains breaker had tripped and wouldn’t reset until I turned off the hot water heater, which is shorting out AGAIN, which is ironic as with all this motoring the engine provides all the hot water we need.  If we carry on motoring we’ll be in mid day Saturday.

12:00

It’s gotten really humid and muggy and a bit overcast.  Wind North @ 5 knots.

Yesterday’s run was 181 miles ALL of it under power.  Ugh.180 to go.
