We left this morning art 9:125 and motored  36 miles to the mouth of the Sassafras River.  We’ve anchored outside a little hamelet called Betterton which is obviously a summer town which hasn’t opened yet as it appears to be completely dead.

It been  grey, dry and windless. We’re quite glad to be anchored away from the  hustle of Annapolis.  Tomorrow we will traverse the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal and travel part way down the Delaware River.

I’ll attach a few snaps, only a few because I have to use the Satellite connection.
