We had a pleasant 10 mile sail to Pacific Harbour, forereaching all the way. Two sunny days in a row make me worried about Demetri’s dive tomorrow. It’s too much to expect 3 in a row.

We’re anchored outside The Pearl resort, an upmarket affair which probably won’t welcome Yachties for dinner, but is the base for 2 dive operations. This is a pretty large open bay with only a little protection from a fringing reef but we’re sitting fairly comfortably even though the wind is still SE4-5.

Everyone was concerned about the Tsunami warning from the earthquake between American and Western Samoa, but the alert was cancelled late this morning, and even if there had been one we were on the leeward side of a very large island so there was little to worry about.
