In  the end we didn‘t leave the bay.  Steve dove and retrieved the rope strops we had on the  coral head and cleared the anchor chain.   This used a full bottle of air. We have a nearly full bottle left. He also found the  problem with the swimming platform remote which was  a connection gone  bad in the salt air.

The wind changed to SW and we are more sheltered here than if we had moved. The French couple we met on our walk arrived in their tiny yacht.  You can see why it took them 34 days.   It’s barely 30’ long.

It rained all afternoon and we didn’t leave the boat. We are all getting cabin fever and are ready to move on.  We’re running out of  fresh food and more importantly white wine.
I will get a new forecast tomorrow.

It’s been one of those all day rainy days. Jon went for a swim in the rain. Steve gave up trying to dry his laundry and I’ve been throwing out old e-mails.

We will leave tomorrow morning. We nearly left today but the wind is still a bit from the North and we’ll have a better sail if we leave tomorrow.
