We leftNorfolk Island  last night at 22:45 Auckland time which is GMT + 13.   Norfolk is on GMT + 12 ½ which we never bothered with.  There’s a bright half moon and clear skies.  At the moment we have NNE Force 5 gusting 6 on the beam and we’re doing 9 knots.

As I write this, Opua is 432 miles away.

12:00

The first 13 ¼ hour’s yielded 111 miles, so a good start. Warm sunny day thanks to the Northerly wind direction which is currently North Force 4.  Just over 370 miles to go.

Current ETA noon on Friday the 24th.

Also the Fleet 33 is back.  We must have been in a very dodgy Inmarsat Satellite reception area for some time.  I will attach a few more snaps from Norfolk Island.
