I just noticed I got the date wrong on the last entry of the last  entry.  Even knowing the day of the week is a major effort after all this time at sea..  We’re still making good progress.   Sunset tonight was very tame followed by  lots of cloud moving in behind us.  No moon, no stars but the wind carries on.

The thickening cloud has brough rain and squalls.  The wind goes NE which pushes us South so we tack to the NW for a few miles to get out from under the squall which was giving us the NE wind.  Soon we are back on course.

We were moored in downtown Papeete by 10:30 this morning.  The rain had carried on but began to clear as we made out final approach.  Lucy and Lee will leave us late Thursday Night and Demetra and  my Grandson Russell will arrive on Friday evening.  This journal will be a bit sporadic for the next few days as we have a lot of boat maintenance to do.

We’ve got WIFI here in the port on the boat which is very handy.

Demetri has found new ways of working out.
