19/3/08   13:00

I woke to the sound of rain. The dinghy had three inches of water in it. About 9 it stopped and there was even sun for a few minutes.  Nik and I went for a quick exploration of the inlet in the dinghy. Steve changed the reluctant fuel transfer pump and we left about 11:30 hoping for a repeat visit from the show off dolphins. We were standing by with cameras at the ready but they didn’t come to play…. the rain however did. The wall of fog is back and we are navigating by radar which we have to do anyway as the charts are so very far out.

19:00

We are tucked up in Caleta Cotticá, with 95 meters of chain and three shore lines. It was blowing NW 7/8 on the way in and raining hard.  It took quite a while to set the anchor and shore lines under these conditions and as soon as we finished the rain stopped.

Yesterday after Nik’s and my outing it stopped raining for a bit and he went for a hike and took the first 5 of the attached pictures, the rest are views of Puerto Mayne from the boat except for the white water which was from the dinghy.
