Finally arrived under motor.  The last 100 miles took forever it seemed.  With the winds still on the nose we ran with the engine but the seas made progress slow, most of the time around 5 knots.

The Crown Bay marina is on the south side of St Thomas protected by the island to the north and west and Water Island to the east provide further protection.  We entered the marina with 15-20 knot winds from the east which seems to be normal whenever we try to berth.  No issues since it now is common to us.

The marina is very deep, being a former military base, and has very good features like a restaurant, laundry, marine store, grocery store that is well stocked, AT&T store, pet store with grooming, mail service store, beauty parlor, etc.  Easy to stay here except it is also located in the middle of the cruise ship docks and a huge container ship berth.  Plenty to watch if you love maritime services.  The airport is only a little way off and you never notice it till the jets rise over the hill between us and the airport at full throttle.  After a little bit it becomes background noise.

But time to relax and clean the boat.  Plenty of salt to wash off, laundry to clean, cabins to re-arrange and of course long hot showers.

About 1,100 nautical miles in 7 days and one hour.

John won the first flying fish on deck contest, I won the time for the trip.  I can't remember the rest but neither could anyone else.
