Short trip to Otok Vrnik on the eastern end of Otok Korcula.  Just a few hours and we did get a little sailing in for one hour.  The real purpose of this stop was to break up the trip for the next day.  The cove protected by Otok Vrnik is nothing special except that it is protected from the winds.  It is used by the day excursions as a place for the passengers to take a swim.  Surrounding the cove are Holiday houses that are being upgraded.  It was fun watching one owner who decided that chopping down large pine trees on the property to be used in the construction of an extension to the existing concrete dock would be the way to go.  A lot of hammering, pounding, drilling and cutting.  Something that Davey Crocket would have been proud of.

The anchorage get a number of charter boats coming here.  Need to chase off the ones that anchor too close.  In the morning a couple of boats came together as the winds changed and needed to move to new spots.  Holding is good in sand and some weed.

We left the next morning and made our way out of the group of islands safely as there can be shallow rocks if you are not paying attention.
