I am nchorein Mimiwhngata Bay , Whangaruru Harbour
.. Clear but very cold water allowed me to dive to inspect the underwater hull .
Shock . A mass of coral and shell worst on the stern and binding the prop . No
wonder the motor here was slow . I ve been diving in 30 minutre slots clearing
it all off with a scraper and then wiping it and the sludge on the eaterline .
Should notice a difference when I move on tomorrow . Hot and sunny and the wind
has dropped . last night we rolled a little which being out of practice
disturbed sleep .Telephoned Penny and all is well at Home . Expect to arrive Bay
of islands on Tuesday and berth on Wednesday to fit sails
