Spring has finally arrived in Wales just as we are about to return to New Zealand . It's warm and sunny with the daffodils blooming on the drive .

Boat preparations in NZ have gone ahead whilst we have been away . The new larger Genset is installed and the small chip on the rudder repaired . There is a new dinghy waiting for us and I hope the repair to the mooring cleats will be finished and the new sails ready .

At this end we have the new water generator to take out and install . This should allow us to sail with all the electrics on all the time unlike last year when I had to keep turning things off.

This weekend is with the children and grandchildren and of course England v Wales rugby. There is a family split over support.
