Penny^s knee is still a problem but the swelling is
much less where it was polticed with the fijian leaves . We rested yesterday but
sailed this morning to Levuka on the island of Ovalau . This is the old capital
of Fiji . A whaling town and a world heritage site . The anchorage is
protected by the reef but not from the onshore wind . This is 15 knts and should
drop further overnight . Still very pretty from the sea the sea front has been
damaged by the cyclone and not quite so pretty close up . Many shops are empty
or closing down . This is sad since it is a pristine 19th century facade even
with a church with tower . We will sail for Suva on Sunday
