Yesterday was the second ´big shop´the first big
shop being the previous day for ´hard´food and beer.Yesterday it was fruit and
veg;kilos of pappaya,passion fruit,mango and the like .
So today it was renegotiate the lagoon past the
airport and the passse to the open sea.The days was sunny with blue
skies.Perfect for the 12nm crossing to Moorea with 30knt of following sea and
one clear of Tahiti a big long swell.
Moorea is the thing of travel shows.coral reef,blue
lagoon,white sand beaches then high towering peaks clad in giant trees and flame
trees.We dropped anchor in Opunohu Bay which is next to Cooks Bay with two
large motor yachts.The Bay is quite stunning and for once that is a goog cool
breeze on a flat sea.
