Coming to the point at which many of us will leave New Zealand either to sail North or in our case by "plane back home for a while . Yesterday we attended the end of term OCC gathering at RDS marina Whangarei . Great time had by all . Friends "Malliola' have problems with crew who are set to 'jump ship' just as they planned to sail away to Fiji . I know how they feel but they don't have the option to sail on without crew since "Malliola' is to large and complicated for this .It has a decidedly autumnal feel here now but we may manage a few days sailing later in the week when a new high moves over us
